- Stage 1: 4½" x 10" carbon cartridge removes particulates >5 microns, chlorine, and organic contaminants.
- Stages 2 & 3: Two 4½" x 20" low Total Organic Carbon (TOC) mixed bed cartridges remove dissolved organics and silica to trace levels, ensuring TOC remains below 10 ppb, critical for sensitive bioprocessing, molecular biology, and synthetic biology workflows.
The system integrates a 200 kΩ·cm DI resistivity light to monitor water quality in real time, enhancing quality control in biotechnology laboratories. The mixed bed cartridges are engineered with premium grade resins that shed minimal organics, supporting molecular diagnostics and biomanufacturing processes reliant on high purity water.
