Die robuste Konstruktion und sorgfältige Verarbeitung von solidem Acrylglas garantieren eine hohe Lebensdauer. Beim Einsetzen in die Elektrophoresekammer wird das Gel-Sandwich an seine Position gestellt und mit zwei seitlich verschiebbaren, gefederten Klemmen und vier leichtgängigen Flügelschrauben fixiert. Sie verfügt über fest angebrachte Stromkabel mit Sicherheitssteckern.
