Description by the supplier

Microtip probes are available in tapered and stepped configurations and are designed to process samples contained in small diameter vessels at extremely high intensity (refer to chart for recommended volumes). Tapered microtips screw into standard 1/2" step horns with tapped ends. The double stepped microtip consists of a coupler and a stepped tip and screws directly into the converter. It has lower amplitude than the tapered tip, but is capable of reaching into small diameter vessels of greater depth and can process solutions down to 0.1 mL.

Typical Applications:

- Micro-tapered is recommended for processing spores, fungi, yeast, muscle, and connective tissue.

- Double Stepped Microtip –is recommended for red and white blood cells, tissue culture cells, HELA cells, and cells which have a low to medium resistance to breakage. Attaches to converter only.

For use with Branson SFX250, SFX550, 250 & 450 Sonifiers .Only attach Microtip to Disruptor horn; attach 2-piece. Double-step Microtip to converter only.

Motic BA310 MET-T Trinocular (Stroke 6”x 4” Stage) Motic’s BA310MET series presents a powerful micro (more)scope line for incident light applications in all material sciences. Industrial quality control of opaque samples can be performed as well as teaching in educational environments of engineering and material professions, where affordability and ease of use are key demands. Extended flexibility is given by the BA310MET-T models with built-in transmitted light for transparent or compound materials. The BA310MET-H includes a more flexible focusing device, dedicated to larger samples with little limitation in size. Motic's LM Plan-Achromatic objectives with Long-Working Distance for incident light provide optimal image contrast for reflective, non-covered specimen. Together with a fully corrected tube lens an intermediate image without colored fringes is created. In all models the Epi-Illuminator offers a powerful 50W Halogen light source. The built-in field diaphragm and aperture diaphragm help to optimize image quality by reducing stray light and thus increasing contrast.INCLUDED: The Motic BA310 MET-T Trinocular (Stroke 6”x 4” Stage) includes: - Accuris IsoPure Mini, Automated Purification System, 115V

Accuris IsoPure Mini, Automated Purification System, 115V Capacity 16 Samples / 50µl to 1000µl Displ (more)ay High Resolution Color Touch Screen Program Memory 100 Protocols (Internal Memory) Features - Programming VIa Android App or PC Software - QR Code Scanning System - Protocol Optimization - Sample Temperature Control Between Ambient +5°C to 120°C. - Connection Ports for Exportatoing of Selected Files - UV Sterilization to Eliminate Most Bacterial, Viral, and Stray Genomic DNA Contaminants - Touch-Screen Control Panel for Intuitive and Ease of Use - 2 Year Warranty Magnetic bead-based purification has become the preferred method for isolating DNA, RNA, and other target molecules from a variety of biological sample types. The quality and quantity of the extracted molecules can be significantly higher than other methods, such as spin columns, while the cost per sample can be lower. The IsoPure™ Mini from Accuris Instruments is a compact, automated purification system that improves efficiency and reproducibility using the magnetic bead-based method. Capable of processing up to 16 samples at one time, the instrument is easy to set up, program, and operate. Mixing, magnetic bead transfer, washing, and elution steps are performed automatically, saving valuable hands-on time. The purification process can be completed within 10 to 60 minutes depending on the type of reagent kit used and the complexity of the program.Programming via Android™ App or PC SoftwareCreating a protocol is simple by using the IsoPure app or PC software, both are included on a USB flash drive with each instrument. Mixing speed, sample temperature, and magnetization parameters can all be programmed. When using the IsoPure app on an Android device, the saved protocols can be transferred to the instrument via Bluetooth connection or by using the included barcode scanner. The PC software can be used for programming and transferring by USB connection or barcode scanner. Free, lifetime App updates are available so users can access newly available features as they are introduced.QR Code Scanning SystemA handheld scanner is included with each IsoPure™ Mini, adding a convenient and fast method for loading a protocol onto the instrument. After creating or opening a protocol on a companion Android device or a connected PC, an option is available for displaying a QR code. Simply scan the QR code to instantly transfer the protocol. QR codes are also available in kit instruction manuals for the instant loading of optimized programs.Protocol OptimizationAccuris Instruments has partnered with leading magnetic bead kit manufacturers to develop and optimize protocols for specific applications. To request scripts for specific kits, or for assistance in optimization, please contact the IsoPure™ Technical Support Team at [email protected] Temperature ControlHeating sample mixtures during the lysis and elution steps can significantly improve results. Heating strips on the sample platform can be precisely set to any temperature between ambient +5°C to 120°C. Both deep well plates and 6-well reagent vessels fit into the contoured heating strips for efficient heat transfer. Two cooling fans maintain the ambient temperature inside the housing and the temperature of the heating strips.Connection PortsThe IsoPure™ Mini can store up to 100 protocol files in internal memory. These can be transferred between instruments or to a computer for storage or sharing. Simply insert the included flash drive to export the selected files. Internal protocol management can be done via the instrument touch screen, or by using the included mouse.UV SterilizationAn ultraviolet sterilization lamp (UVC) inside the processing chamber provides effective elimination of most bacterial, viral and stray genomic DNA contaminants. This additional safeguard reduces the possibility of contamination and downstream amplification of unwanted targets.Touch-Screen Control PanelThe control panel on top of the IsoPure™ Mini allows for a quick selection of stored protocols and instrument control. To execute a protocol, select it from the file list, insert a prepared sample plate (or 6-well reagent vessel) and tip combs, and press the start button. Run parameters and operating status are displayed during sample processing.IsoPure™ ConsumablesAccuris offers magnetic tip combs, deep well plates, and 6-well sample strips designed to fit the IsoPure™ Mini. Produced using virgin polypropylene and packaged in a sterile environment, these consumables are guaranteed to be contaminant-free. The 8-place magnetic tip combs lock into position inside the instruments processing chamber. There are 2 options for sample vessels: 96 deep-well plates or 6-well sample strips. For processing up to 16 samples, deep well plates are used. When only 8 or fewer samples need to be processed, the 6-well sample strips are ideal, and these are loaded onto the included aluminum rack. These sample strips reduce waste and lower consumable costs when only a few samples need to be processed.
