VWR Digital Dry Block Heater with External Temperature Probe

This VWR Digital Dry Block Heater (Model 949303 / 460-3267) is a precision instrument designed for meticulous temperature control in the laboratory environment. It features a microprocessor PID control system with an external temperature probe that ensures temperature stability and uniformity within ±0.2°C, allowing for precise measurements and consistency in experiments.

The heater's efficient design features close tube and block contact with a low-density structure, providing exceptional temperature uniformity. The included external temperature probe kit allows the unit to read and display actual block or sample temperatures right on the control panel. The optional kit includes a stainless steel RTD PT100 probe, an 18” (45.7 cm) stainless steel support rod, a thermometer/temperature probe extension clamp, and a hook connector.

Compact yet versatile, this dry block heater supports block dimensions of 95 x 152 x 51 mm, with blocks available separately. It offers an adjustable temperature set point in 0.1°C increments and operates within a temperature range of +5°C to 120°C. With overall dimensions of 203 x 89 x 391 mm and a weight of just 2.9 kg, it is suitable for a variety of laboratory applications.

This near-brand-new system—never used and still in its original packaging—operates at 230 V, 5 A, and 110 W at 50/60 Hz.
