The system powers up and is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks, no further testing has been done. We couldn't test the lid locking/holding mechanism since the software couldn't be accessed. This Jouan VXS 570 Laboratory Deep Freezer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to (more) requirements. The unit powers up and was tested with a digital thermometer. It did reach -84˚C but after opening the door for the probe our thermometer measured -76˚C. The unit is in very good condition but would benefit frmo new door seal due to splits in the top. There is no key for the lock but it is unlocked.
