Product Description
The Velp D20-S5S-P-R5S Dispersion Tool is expertly designed for sample preparation, particularly in DNA and organic tissue analysis, as well as organic tissue dispersions.
Its robust technical specifications include a 3.2 mm rotor diameter, a 5 mm stator diameter, and a stator/rotor gap of 0.4 mm, allowing for precise operation. This tool can handle a volume range from 0.2 to 50 ml of water, with an immersion depth of 10-50 mm, and boasts a maximum speed of 25,000 rpm and circumferential speed of 4.2 m/s. It achieves ultimate fineness in emulsions of 1-10 µm and in suspensions of 10-50 µm.
The device is suitable for an array of temperatures with a maximum allowable working temperature of 180 °C, and it is constructed with premium materials like AISI 316L and PTFE, ensuring compatibility with solvents. For convenience, all components can be sterilized by various methods, adaptable to the construction materials and samples processed, to maintain utmost hygiene.
