This item is in good cosmetic condition and powered on, however, the item was displaying error 8 (see below): Therefore we are unable to test further. "Err 8 Warning: Redo Unable to find Vane on Turret This error indicates that the vane position zero on the turret cannot be found. The most likely causes for this error are: 1. The turret carousel has been removed and not replaced. Solution: Check if the turret is in the sample chamber and inserted properly. Press the key adjacent to the back icon to try rechecking." This Thermo Scientific VersaCool Refrigerated Circulating Water Bath was removed from a university l (more)ab where it was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up and is in very good cosmetic condition. It was tested with a digital thermometer (not included). Heating:-Tested with water, the temperature was set to 37˚c, the temperature quickly went up to 38˚c while the thermometer read 37˚c. It was then tested up to the maximum temperature (for water) of 90˚c which it reached after around 10 minutes, thermometer also read 90˚c. It can go higher but we didn't want it to boil. It is rated for 150˚C. Cooling:-Tested with Antifreeze, the temperature was set to -20˚c, it dropped quite quickly to -8˚c but seemed to stop cooling from there, only dropping a further 0.3˚c over the next few hours. The thermometer read -9.6˚c. This is likely due to the concentration of antifreeze used.

International Metrology Systems MS Impact Coordinate Measuring Machine This was removed from a  (more)university lab where it was surplus to requirements. We were unable to test it at our facility but the lab confirmed that it was working prior to removal. It has a Renishaw Probe Head Controller PHC10-2 and Virtual-DMIS Version 3.2 and Version 4.0 software discs which run it.
