The Nucleofector technology is a major improvement of the well known electroporation technology. The (more) Nucleofector technology involves a combination of optimized electrical parameters and specific Nucleofector solutions for different cell types. This combination permits the crucials step: delivery of the DNA of interest straight into the nucleus. As the DNA quickly reaches the nucleus, expression can begin without delay. The nucleofected cells are thus ready for analysis after a short incubation time of only 2 – 8 hours. Nikon Apophot Table Microscope with 4 x Objectives This was removed from a university lab where it w (more)as surplus to requirements. The unit powers up and the halogen bulb is working, but there appears to be no power going to the second lamp. Without the second lamp working we were unable to see a clear image during testing. We feel it may need a degree of refurbishment to get it working again so it is sold for spares or repairs. It is in good cosmetic condition but has marks from age and use.
