The Olympus DP10 Digital Microscope Camera is equipped with a 2/3″ CCD progressive scan sensor, delivering super-high resolution with 1.4 million pixels at 1280×1024. Its 5.1 cm polysilicone TFT display allows for precise frame and focus adjustments during preview mode. Designed to minimize vibrations, the camera is operated via a handswitch to ensure sharp imagery. Its photometric system supports both integral (30%) and spot (1%) metering options, while automatic exposure adjustment includes an auto-exposure lock with +/- 3 step compensation. Images are stored in JPEG format across three resolution modes, utilizing a 3.3 V SmartMedia (SSFDC) card with 8 MB of intermediate image storage, eliminating the need for a PC. Additionally, the camera offers direct printing to the Olympus P-330E high-resolution dye-sublimation printer at 306 dpi. For enhanced functionality, the camera can be controlled using a personal computer via a serial interface.
