This system was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

All parts are in good used cosmetic condition but they do have signs of general use. We have powered it all up and the system appears to function as it should. We were able to view a slide via the software on the PC. It is an excellent system and is in full working order. It has been professionally serviced. The comments from the service engineer are below. It appears to be in good working condition but we have no way of checking the laser. The internal halogen works fine and so does the external metal halide illumination. Objectives UPlanFl 4x/0.13 ∞/- UPlanFl 10x/0.30 ∞/- LCPlanFl 20x/0.4 ∞/- LCPlanFl 40x/0.60 ∞/- Diagnostic Inst 1x C Mount adaptor. Some evidence of bleaching of fluorescence filters. The system consists of: 1 x Olympus IX50 Microscope Modified by Arcturus.With PixCell IIE LCM2016 Laser System (Manufactured September 2002).The microscope is fitted with:2 x Olympus WH10X/22 Eyepieces.
