Consumables

A plethora of different consumables is required to run a laboratory. There are many different laboratory consumables in chemical, industrial, pharmaceutical, biological and food & life science laboratories. Common examples include plastic pipettes, vials, funnels, beakers and test tubes or disposable gloves, safety goggles and face masks. Consumables for chemical testing include testing strips to measure the pH, chlo (more)rine concentration and other substances in liquid or gaseous form. In microbiology labs it is common to encounter tubes with prepared culture media, sterile bottles, petri dishes, and plastic cups and small glass vials and specimen bottles.
