Description by the supplier

KNF IP65 UFEM 1.10 ST.18S2 Liquid PumpKNF SIMDOS diaphragm pumps offer a variety of options to suit most laboratory liquid metering and dosing needs. The UFEM 1.10 ST.18S2 version has a liquid transfer flow rate of 1 – 100 mL/min and discreet dosing volumes of 1– 999 mL. It is constructed with the following chemically-resistant flow path materials: stainless steel head, PTFE covered diaphragm, and FFKM valves. The easy-to-read display combined with a touch control knob makes programming and access of all functions very intuitive.

All SIMDOS pumps are simple and intuitive to operate, compact, and quiet, making them a welcome addition to any business or academic lab. They are effective against pressures of up to 85 psig and transfer viscous media up to 500 centistokes (reduced flow rate above 150 cSt). The integrated software permits the transfer parameters to be modified for a range of different viscosities at the touch of a button. With a durable and IP65 splash-proof design, these pumps are maintenance free, and provide trouble-free ±2% accuracy and ±1% repeatability performance. SIMDOS 10 pumps are self-priming up to 9.8 feet of water, and can run dry indefinitely without damage. Also, unlike peristaltic pumps, there are no troublesome tubing to break or fatigue.

IKA TWISTER, 4 pcs. Magnetic stirrer, 4 pcs.-cover
IKA TWISTER, 4 pcs. Magnetic stirrer, 4 pcs.

IKA TWISTER, 4 pcs. Magnetic stirrer, 4 pcs. RPM Range 100 - 3000 rpm Weight 0.6 kg Power 10W Feat (more)ures - Universal & Compact: Versatile mixing device with a magnetic drive. - Multi-Position Capability: Expandable up to 30 stirring positions. - High Performance: Mix up to 5 liters at max speed of 3000 rpm. - Versatile Attachments: Transforms into a stirrer or a shaker. - Innovative Operating Concept: Intuitive 360° LED glass display. - Robust & Safe: High protection class IP 66 for harsh conditions. - Award-Winning Design: Recognized with the Reddot Award 2022. TWISTER is a universal and compact mixing device with magnetic drive. TWISTER SET 4 is multi-position magnetic stirrer with four drive units. In the default version, TWISTER is a powerful single-position magnetic stirrer for mixing up to 5 liters at a maximum speed of 3000 rpm and a viscosity of up to 500 mPas. By connecting additional TWISTER stirring units (available as accessories, ID no. 0020112621), TWISTER can be expanded to a multi-position magnetic stirrer with up to 30 stirring positions.* The stirring positions can be controlled either separately or simultaneously (leader-follower principle). Versatile accessories With the multi-position stirring attachment TW.IX, the drive is transformed into a magnetic stirrer with 9 stirring positions for efficient mixing of sample vessels with small volumes (8 - 60 ml). The TW.VX shaker attachment transforms the universal magnetic drive into a vortex or orbital shaker. Innovative operating concept TWISTER enables a new way of interaction between user and laboratory instrument. Via the intuitive and chemically resistant 360° LED glass display, all information is intuitively conveyed without any alpha-numeric display. During operation, either the speed or the power required for stirring can be displayed. For example, viscosity changes can be observed and displayed as a percentage. Mixing can be started by pressing a button as well as (thanks to integrated beaker recognition) by placing or touching the beaker. The reverse function changes the direction of rotation at definable time intervals. This leads to a significant improvement of the mixing result, especially with samples that are difficult to mix. Robust and safe The high protection class IP 66 allows operation under harsh conditions. TWISTER can thus be cleaned under the tap, for example, or operated in an incubator at temperatures up to 40°C. The compact and innovative design has already been awarded the reddot Award 2022. It is particularly suitable for use in laboratories with limited space. * Depending on the number of devices, a different power supply may have to be used. The included power supply is designed to power up to four devices. INCLUDED: The IKA TWISTER, 4 pcs. Magnetic stirrer, 4 pcs. includes: - TWISTER S099 (4 pcs.) - TW.PWR.1 Power supply - IKAFLON® 25 Magnetic stirring bar (4 pcs.) - Two Year Manufacturer's Warranty

Accuris E5001-SDB SmartDoc 2.0 System w/ Blue Light Illumination Base-cover
Accuris E5001-SDB SmartDoc 2.0 System w/ Blue Light Illumination Base

Accuris SmartDoc 2.0 System w/ Blue Light Illumination Base Introducing the SmartDoc 2.0 (Item no. E (more)5001-SDB). This complete system has been developed for safely viewing nucleic acids in agarose gels and also for capturing quality digital images with a smart phone camera. Blue light is used instead of UV, which is safer for lab personnel and will not damage DNA samples. The illumination base emits an intense blue light with a peak output of 460nm for optimum excitation of nucleic acids stained with green fluorescent dyes (SYBR Green, SmartGlow, GelStar, GelGreen, etc). The orange cover fits on top of the illumination base and acts as a filter to absorb blue light, allowing visualization of the fluorescing samples. The cover can also be set at an angle for gel access and cutting out DNA bands for further study. Optional amber glasses are available (E4000-VG SmartBlue Viewing Glasses). These are ideal for users that are doing a lot of band excision work, as they eliminate the need for the orange cover allowing full access to the gels. The SmartDoc imaging enclosure includes an orange photo filter for photography of the gels with a smart phone. An extending adapter can be inserted for full dimension imaging of gels up to 15 x 15 cm or removed for close up pictures. The enclosure can also be used directly on any other existing UV or blue light transilluminator. Additional filters are available for imaging gels on a UV transilluminator.
