Edwards Silencer for nXDS and XDS5/10 Dry Scroll Pumps

Edwards Silencer for nXDS and XDS5/10 Dry Scroll PumpsFeatures - Compact design combines both filtra (more)tion efficiency and noise reduction - Integrated inlet diffuser optimizes sound attenuation - Multi-stage noise reducing features including final stage sound absorbent insert - Tubular silencing design - tube is positions to maximize attenuation and air flow while minimizing pressure drop - Patented high grade element with built-in butterfly gasket seal which creates positive seal between housing hemispheres and a new seal with each element - Seamless drawn housings - no welds to rust or vibrate apart - Durable carbon steel construction with black powder coated finish - Ability to mount vertically or horizontally The Edwards Silencer for nXDS and XDS5/10 Dry Scroll Pumps has two main functions: to reduce exhaust noise during pump down and gas ballast operation as well as to collect and retain tip seal dust as the pump is operated. Exhaust gases exit the exhaust port when the pump is being used to evacuate a process chamber, or when the gas ballast control is being used, or both. The noise level when pumping down rises as the throughput increases and the silencer is used to reduce this noise level. The outer can is made of pressed steel and is split to allow access to the filter elements. The filter element housing is made from Santoprene thermoplastic elastomer. The element itself is polyester. The foam block is manufactured from filter foam. INCLUDED: The Edwards Silencer for nXDS and XDS5/10 Dry Scroll Pumps includes: - NW25 Clamp - Centring Ring - Manufacturer's Documentation - 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty

Edwards E2M18FX Vacuum Pump 115/230V-cover
Edwards E2M18FX Vacuum Pump 115/230V

Ultimate Vacuum 1x10-3 mbar Inlet Connection NW25 Displacement 25.0 m 3h-1 / 14.7 ft 3min-1 Features (more) - High ultimate vacuum and rapid pumping speed make it the industry standard for laboratory and light industrial applications - Quiet operation ensures a comfortable working environment, reducing noise in sensitive areas - Freestanding design with a flexible coupling driven by either a single-phase or three-phase (four pole) air-cooled motor for versatile use - Supplied with essential accessories, including 2 x 1 liter of Ultragrade 19 oil, O-ring and centering ring, two Allen keys, and spare seals for oil drain and filter plugs - Features a pressurized oil system that lubricates the pump shaft bearing surfaces and rotor sealing faces for reliable performance - Includes an oil distribution valve to prevent oil discharge to the pump interior after stopping, enhancing safety - Airtight pumping chambers prevent suckback unless the gas ballast valve is open, maintaining system integrity - Facilitates easy oil changes with an oil drain-plug for gravity or pressure oil drainage Edwards E2M18FX Vacuum Pump 115/230V The EM range of oil sealed rotary pumps – renowned for their high ultimate vacuum, rapid pumping speed, quiet operation and ability to handle vapour – have become the industry standard for laboratory and light industrial applications. The pump is a freestanding unit with the drive provided through a flexible coupling by either a single phase or three phase (four pole) air cooled motor. Each EM pump is supplied with 2 x 1 litre of Ultragrade 19 oil, O ring and centering ring, two Allen keys and spares seal for oil drain and filter plugs. For PFPE prepared FX pumps Fomblin® to be ordered separately. This is a single stage oil sealed rotary vane pump which has a pressurised oil system that lubricates the pump shaft bearing surfaces and rotor sealing faces. The pump has an oil distribution valve which prevents discharge of oil to the pump interior after the pump stops. The pumping chambers are air-tight, so this arrangement also prevents suckback unless the gas ballast valve is open. You can inspect the level and condition of oil in the oil box reservoir through the oil sight-glass. An oil filler-plug is fitted to the top of the oil box. The pump has an oil drain-plug to allow either gravity oil drain or pressure oil drain.
