IKA RH Basic Hot Plate with Magnetic Stirrer

The IKA RH Basic is an economically designed magnetic stirrer with integrated heating, capable of precise temperature control through a sensor placed directly in the medium. With a notable high heat output of 600 watts, it features a stainless steel compound hot plate ensuring rapid heating. The safety temperature is adjustable between 100 and 360°C. The device includes a soft-start feature for the stirring motor and an M 10 thread for support rod attachment. It boasts a robust magnetic field and a wide speed range suitable for handling volumes up to 15 liters. The heating temperature ranges from 50 to 320°C, with a heating rate of 6 K/min for 1 liter of H₂O. The adjustable safety circuit accommodates temperatures from 100 to 360°C, and there is a connection option for an external temperature sensor (ETS-D5). The speed range is from 100 to 2000 rpm with one stirring position, accommodating a maximum stirring quantity of 15 liters (H₂O). It supports a maximum load of 20 kg and uses a stirring bar length between 20 and 80 mm. The self-heating of the set-up plate by maximum stirring is recorded as +12 K. The stainless steel 1.4301 set-up plate measures 135 mm in diameter. The overall dimensions are 160 x 100 x 250 mm, and the unit weighs 3.135 kg.
