The IKA RH Basic Hot Plate with Magnetic Stirrer is a cost-effective solution for laboratories requiring precise thermal regulation and agitation. Equipped with a high heat output of 600 watts, this device allows for rapid and uniform heating via a stainless steel compound hot plate. Accurate temperature control can be achieved using an external sensor placed directly in the medium, supporting temperatures from 50 to 320°C, and an adjustable safety circuit from 100 to 360°C.
It features a soft-start stirring motor and a robust magnetic field for handling volumes of up to 15 liters. The stirrer operates across a wide speed range of 100 to 2000 rpm, while supporting a maximum load of 20 kg. The device is also designed with a M 10 thread for a support rod, enhancing its versatility in laboratory setups.
With ease of use in mind, the RH Basic includes a connection for an external temperature sensor (ETS-D5), a single stirring position accommodating stirring quantities up to 15 liters per position, and a variable stirring bar length of 20 to 80 mm. It boasts self-heating capabilities of +12 K when operating at maximum stirring over extended periods, all within the dimensions of a 160 x 100 x 250 mm unit weighing 3.135 kg.
