The MJ Research PTC-100 Thermal Cycler is a high-functioning, robust instrument designed for 96-well microplate operations. The incorporation of advanced technology in this reliable piece of equipment facilitates user-friendly operation and supports a broad range of temperature settings from 0°C to 105°C, with a remarkable temperature precision of ± 0.3°C.

The superior design of the PTC-100 includes a heated lid for oil-free operation, complete with an easy-to-manipulate thumbwheel for pressure and height adjustments. This durable instrument is built to endure the rigors of continuous cycling and is capable of following any temperature sequence up to 10,000 times. Its unique ability to store material indefinitely at any temperature ensures highly precise incubation rates.

The PTC-100 is additionally equipped to store approximately 320 programs, and includes 14 pre-formed protocols for added convenience. This instrument incorporates a power-failure protection feature that assures data safety for up to twelve hours following a power interruption.

  • Accuracy: ±0.5°C of programmed target at 60°C
  • Thermal Uniformity: ±0.4°C well-to-well within 30 sec of arrival at 60°C
