Processing times are reduced by up to 20% thanks to the ability to choose between three application modes that correspond to sample solvent (aqueous, alcohol or high vapor pressure). The choice of four heating levels (ambient, 30°C, 45°C, 60°C) enables safe and efficient concentration of various samples. The Stuart sample concentrator, when used in conjunction with a Stuart block heater, uses the princi (more)ple of solvent evaporation to concentrate samples. When heat, applied to the samples by the block heater, is combined with a stream of inert (usually nitrogen) directoed onto the surface of the solution, vapour is rapidily driven off and the sample is quickly concentrated. A large number of samples can be processed in a matter of minutes. miVac is a range of centrifugal concentrators capable of removing water and organic solvents from a  (more)variety of sample formats including tubes, microplates and vials. miVac systems are suitable for use with a wide range of solvents, from volatile organic types through to water and many medium boiling point solvents.
