Anachem RS 1050 Reaction Station with Chiller and Stirrer

The Anachem / Stem Corp RS 1050 Reaction Station is a highly versatile laboratory unit designed for a variety of applications from basic laboratory synthesis to industrial process optimization. With 10 programmable positions, it allows simultaneous control of temperature and stirring rates, accommodating test tubes up to 25mm in diameter—or smaller with optional adapters. The system comprises a temperature-controlled reaction unit with integral magnetic stirrers and a permanently connected chiller, managed by the reaction unit. Refrigerant gas is efficiently transported between these components through a factory-fitted umbilical tube.

Securely housed in a splashproof case, the unit's thermal exchanger and magnetic stirrers ensure reliable operation. Convenient manual controls are available on the front panel, while remote control can be achieved via computer with specialized software. Compact in size, the RS 1050 is suitable for use in fume hoods, robotic systems, or directly on the bench.

Specifications include variable stirring rates from 600 to 1500 rpm along with a soft-start function, a temperature range of -30°C to +70°C with +/- 0.5°C stability, and a fixed heater cut-off at 70°C. The unit operates within a +5°C to +30°C ambient range and 75% relative humidity.

The package includes the reaction unit, chiller, connecting cable, power cord, and an instruction manual. Though it shows some cosmetic wear from use, the unit is fully functional, running smoothly and quietly.
