Description from the supplier

Alpha Series - Precision Cooling Thermostats with Fundamental Functionality

The Alpha series from LAUDA offers a trusted blend of cutting-edge technology and contemporary design to handle temperature variations from -25°C to 100°C. This collection of equipment is ideal for both internal and external thermostats using non-flammable liquids (water and water / glycol mixtures).
These thermostats are optimally designed for a vast array of laboratory temperature regulation tasks, prioritizing essential functionality, dependability, and user-friendly interface. They also come with a below/above temperature alarm, a countdown function, a drain screw, and the capacity for single-point calibration.

The RA 8, RA 12, and RA 24 models of cooling thermostats feature a standard tank lid and pump attachments, boosting refrigeration throughout the entire temperature spectrum from -25 to 100°C. Additionally, all models carry an automatic compressor control extension to aid in compressor lifespan and cut down on operating expenses.

Specific Application Scope:

  • Sample preparation in pharmaceutical and chemical research
  • Evaluation of the function of electronic components
  • Testing of sliding bearings
  • Beer quality testing
  • Valve assessment
  • Stress tests
  • Notch bending examination
  • Expansion trials
  • Brookfield tests
  • Semiconductor coating applications

Prominent Features:

  • Automatic compressor control for enhanced cost efficiency as cooling power is supplied only when needed
  • Convenient cleaning of the cooling air inlet by simply detaching the front cover, no equipment required
  • Made with corrosion-resistant stainless steel tanks
  • Rear end placement of the drain connection

Included are cooling performance graphs for RA Alpha Lauda cryostats and pump capability charts.
