All systems are delivered with warranty!   VICI PDDs (pulsed discharge detectors) utilize a stable, low powered, pulsed DC discharge in helium as an ionization source. Eluants from the column, flowing counter to the flow of helium from the discharge zone, are ionized by photons from the helium discharge. The bias electrode(s) focus the resulting electrons toward the collector electrode, where they cause changes in the standing current which are quantified as the detector output. Performance is equal to or better than detectors with conventional radioactive sources. In the electron capture mode, the PDD is a selective detector for monitoring high electron affinity compounds such as freons, chlorinated pesticides, and other halogen compounds. For this type of compound, the minimum detectable quantity (MDQ) is at the femtogram (10-15) or picogram (10-12) level. The PDD is similar in sensitivity and response characteristics to a conventional radioactive ECD, and can be operated at temperatures up to 400°C. For operation in this mode, He and CH4 are introduced just upstream from the column exit. In the helium photoionization mode, the PDD is a universal, non-destructive, high sensitivity detector. The response to both inorganic and organic compounds is linear over a wide range. Response to fixed gases is positive (increase in standing current), with an MDQ in the low ppb range. The PDD in helium photoionization mode is an excellent replacement for flame ionization detectors in petrochemical or refinery environments, where the flame and use of hydrogen can be problematic. In addition, when the helium discharge gas is doped with a suitable noble gas, such as argon, krypton, or xenon (depending on the desired cutoff point), the PDD can function as a specific photoionization detector for selective determination of aliphatics, aromatics, amines, as well as other species. Available for 110 VAC and 230 VAC.

The system provides reliable capabilities for a wide range of application areas, meeting regulatory and SOP needs for small-to medium-sized labs. Runs with full electronic pneumatic control (EPC) from inlet to detector for good retention time and area count performance. Electronic pneumatic regulation (EPR) offers manual operation simplicity with high precision digital display of pressure/flow. Superior ease-of-use over traditional systems. Features Retention Time Locking (RTL) provides improved data consistency by maintaining exact retention times from injection to injection, column to column, instrument to instrument, and lab-to-lab Electronic Pneumatics Regulation (EPR) provides the simplicity of manual operation with high-precision digital display of pressure/flow and superior ease-of-use, compared to traditional manual pneumatics systems Great fit for routine applications using a single quadrupole mass spectrometer Single filament TCD doesn’t require a separate reference gas or manual potentiometer adjustment and provides a stable baseline without drift Auto-ranging FID provides the ability to detect and quantitate from parts per billion (ppb) to parts per thousand in a single injectio nOther detectors include FPD plus, NPD, and µECD Inlets options include split/splitless, packed, purge packed, and on-column inlets Valve configurations that include up to three valves Full electronic pneumatic control (EPC) from inlet to detector Simplified GC front panel keys and display provide sequence information, instrument conditions, and run status, and minimize operating errors Software keyboard and display allows the user to control the system when it connects with an integrator or 3rd-party software

Heating plate REC 7 Velp-cover
Heating plate REC 7 Velp

REC magnetic stirrer Advanced heating performance for your laboratory reactions REC features state-o (more)f-the-art heating plate technology, designed by VELP, which ensures temperature homogeneity, thermal efficiency and long-lasting heating performance. You can rely on the REC for laboratory applications performed at very high temperatures, as the maximum settable temperature of the heating plate is 550°C. Thanks to the extremely bright and easy-to-read digital REC display, it is possible to constantly monitor the set temperature by turning the convenient knob. Absolute safety and ease of use for laboratory operators The REC hotplate stirrer guarantees a superior level of safety and protection for laboratory operators, as it is entirely made of technopolymer and is equipped with an extremely resistant ceramic plate, ideal for high resistance to acids, bases and solvents . When the platen temperature is above 50°C and the heating function is not active, a safety message is displayed. The control panel is positioned at a safe distance from heat sources and the technopolymer structure is carefully designed so that accidental spills of liquids cannot reach the electronics. The extremely durable ceramic soleplate is easy to clean and resistant to acids, bases and solvents. Using a damp cloth, all residues will be easily removed. It is not possible to connect the REC model to Velp's Cloud Ermes.
