The Hoefer PS200HC High Current Electrophoresis Power Supply is an essential tool for large electrophoretic blotting applications and low voltage electrophoresis runs. Its compact design, large handle, and user-friendly interface make setup and operation simple, ensuring seamless integration into any lab. Featuring a large, easy-to-read LED display, the PS200HC allows users to set constant voltage or current parameters, adjust the timer up to 999 minutes, and start runs with ease. With a power range of 5 to 200 V and 10 to 2000 mA, this power supply delivers up to 200 W of reliable performance.

The PS200HC operates in three distinct modes: Constant Voltage Mode, where the power supply maintains the user-selected voltage by automatically adjusting the current flow; Constant Current Mode, where it maintains the selected current flow by adjusting the voltage supplied; and Automatic Crossover, which ensures that when the constant parameter (voltage or current) cannot be maintained due to operating limits, the system switches to maintaining the other parameter. Key features such as automatic recovery after power failure, short circuit and open circuit protection, and four 4 mm output jacks enhance its flexibility and safety. Designed for both continuous operation and timed runs, the PS200HC is the ideal choice for dependable, high-current electrophoresis applications.
