It is equipped with a xenon flash lamp and dual silicon photodiodes, operating within a wavelength range of 190 to 1100 nm. This spectrophotometer offers a spectral bandwidth of 1.8 nm, wavelength accuracy of ±1.0 nm, and wavelength repeatability of ±0.5 nm. With a wavelength slew speed of 11,000 nm/min and scan speed up to 3,600 nm/min, it ensures efficient data collection at intervals of 0.1 to 5.0 nm.

The photometric capabilities include a linear range up to 3.5 A at 260 nm, with a display range encompassing -0.1 A; -1.5–125%T; ±9999 C. Its photometric accuracy stands at ±0.005 A at 1.0 A, with superior photometric noise specifications of <0.00025 at 0.0 A; <0.00050 at 1.0 A; <0.00080 at 2.0 A, RMS at 260 nm. The unit ensures minimal photometric drift of <0.0005 A/hr. It also displays a low level of stray light at <0.08%T at 220 and 340 nm (NaI, NaNO2), and <1.0%T in the 198–200 nm range (KCl).
