Environics IUT Medical ENVI-Air GC-IMS-Analyzer Ultra-Low Level Gas Detection-cover
Environics IUT Medical ENVI-Air GC-IMS-Analyzer Ultra-Low Level Gas Detection

Manufacturer: Environics-IUT Model: ENVI-Air GC-IMS-Analyzer S/N: IM0911.120011 YoM: 2012 Descripti (more)on: The ENVI-Air from Environics is a continuously operating gas analyzer designed for ultra-low level detection of either single or multi-component hazardous gases in ambient air. It will operate indoor or outdoor in the harshest environmental conditions and needs little or no maintenance. The ENVI-Air can detect hazardous gases at far lower concentrations than traditional analyzers and react in real-time. This gives the operator a longer safe response window to take corrective action. It is based on GC-IMS technology. Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) is a simplified atmospheric pressure time-of-flight technique that is highly selective with low ppb to % sensitivity. The GC-IMS adds multi-component separation prior to the IMS analysis. ENVI-Air does not require the use of paper tape, pre-concentrators or chemical reagents. The ENVI-Air is an industrial solution virtually drift free and unaffected by humidity or temperature changes and will be factory calibrated for the compounds of interest for maximum accuracy and reliability. Because of the simplicity of design and limited moving parts, ENVI-Air analyzers will have the lowest maintenance and downtime of any current analyzer system. Measurable Compounds: Ammonia, Acetone, Acrylonitrile, Acetonitrile, Arsine, Benzylchlorid, Bromine, Chlorine, Chlorocyane, BTX, CMME, Ethylene Oxide, Dibutylphthalat (DMP), Dimethylsulfat, HFPO, Hydrazin, Hydrogen Chloride, Hydrogen Bromide, Hydrogen Fluoride, Hydrogen sulfid, TDI, Methyl Bromide, Isopropyl alcohol, Methyl Iodide, Nitrogen dioxide, NMP, PFIB, Phosgene, Phosphine, PGME, PGMEA, Sulfur Dioxide, Triethylamine, Vinyl Chloride. All systems are delivered with warranty!   VICI PDDs (pulsed discharge detectors) utilize a stable, low powered, pulsed DC discharge in helium as an ionization source. Eluants from the column, flowing counter to the flow of helium from the discharge zone, are ionized by photons from the helium discharge. The bias electrode(s) focus the resulting electrons toward the collector electrode, where they cause changes in the standing current which are quantified as the detector output. Performance is equal to or better than detectors with conventional radioactive sources. In the electron capture mode, the PDD is a selective detector for monitoring high electron affinity compounds such as freons, chlorinated pesticides, and other halogen compounds. For this type of compound, the minimum detectable quantity (MDQ) is at the femtogram (10-15) or picogram (10-12) level. The PDD is similar in sensitivity and response characteristics to a conventional radioactive ECD, and can be operated at temperatures up to 400°C. For operation in this mode, He and CH4 are introduced just upstream from the column exit. In the helium photoionization mode, the PDD is a universal, non-destructive, high sensitivity detector. The response to both inorganic and organic compounds is linear over a wide range. Response to fixed gases is positive (increase in standing current), with an MDQ in the low ppb range. The PDD in helium photoionization mode is an excellent replacement for flame ionization detectors in petrochemical or refinery environments, where the flame and use of hydrogen can be problematic. In addition, when the helium discharge gas is doped with a suitable noble gas, such as argon, krypton, or xenon (depending on the desired cutoff point), the PDD can function as a specific photoionization detector for selective determination of aliphatics, aromatics, amines, as well as other species. Available for 110 VAC and 230 VAC.
