These systems use vacuum in conjunction with heat and vortex motion to accelerate evaporation and provide an alternative to traditional centrifugal evaporation methods. The systems can be used for a wide range of aggressive chemicals. The heat is generated with a heating block system that, unlike water baths, avoids potential sources of contamination and requires no maintenance.

• Fast evaporation rates: Water evaporates at a rate of up to 0.75 ml/minute/tube

• Microprocessor controlled 1000 Watt heating block system: up to 100 °C

• PTFE-coated aluminium chamber, glass lid with Lexan® protection

• Up to nine different user-adjustable programs with different parameter setpoints that can be stored

Suitable for seven different, interchangeable accessory sample blocks that can hold sample volumes ranging from a few milliliters to 450 milliliters. Up to 110 tubes (each 12 or 13 mm) can be loaded simultaneously. Additional blocks are available for different tube types, e.g. conical centrifuge and scintillation tubes.

The maintenance-free, microprocessor-controlled motor offers infinitely variable speeds to accelerate the vortex movement up to 1000 min-1.

Ideal for sample preparation in a variety of applications including drug development, agrochemistry, environmental analysis and mycology.
