The Hoefer TE70XP Semi-Dry Transfer Unit with Built-In Power Supply is an innovative system designed for the rapid and efficient transfer of proteins from polyacrylamide gels onto nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes. Featuring an intelligent built-in power supply, the TE70XP monitors transfer status in real-time, automatically halting the process to prevent overheating of the stack. With a 14 x 16 cm transfer area, the TE70XP accommodates up to four mini gels in a stacked format, allowing for high-throughput transfers without compromising quality.
This semi-dry transfer unit is equipped with durable iridium oxide and stainless steel electrodes, ensuring contamination-free, consistent results. Vented electrodes prevent bubble buildup, enhancing the reliability of each transfer. Designed to minimize buffer requirements, the TE70XP reduces reagent costs and preparation time, making it a cost-effective solution for busy labs. Its robust construction includes a molded base with a platinum-coated titanium anode and a hinged lid with a stainless steel cathode, ensuring long-lasting performance.
