The Evoqua High-Purity Water System Package is an integrated solution engineered for reliable laboratory and bioprocessing utilities, featuring a modular skid-based design. This system treats municipal potable water through a multi-stage purification train:
- Pretreatment: dual 5-micron cartridge filters, 18" duplex softeners, 24" carbon vessel, and backflow prevention
- Purification: reverse osmosis (RO) with integrated controller paired with a continuous deionization (CDI-LX) skid for high-purity water generation
- Storage & Distribution: includes a 2,500-gallon polyethylene (PE) storage tank with level switch, and a distribution skid equipped with a SUPER 30 mixed bed polisher, dual UV lamps (185 nm TOC destruct and 254 nm bacterial destruct), and 0.2-micron absolute duplex 316L stainless steel final cartridge filters with sanitary connections

- Feed Water Flow: 13.3 GPM normal (798 GPH), max 30 GPM (1,800 GPH)
- RO Permeate to CDI: 10 GPM (600 GPH)
- High-Purity Water to Storage: 8.5 GPM (510 GPH)
- Distribution Flow: 40 GPM (2,400 GPH) at approx. 55-60 psig
- Reject Flows: RO reject 3.3 GPM, CDI reject 1.5 GPM, purge 3-5 GPM
The system integrates quality-control mechanisms such as self-contained monitoring with audible alarms, quality-protection purge logic, and backflow prevention (installed by others). Electrical requirements include 460 VAC 3-phase for RO and 120 VAC single-phase ancillary power. Installation needs a curb and a quad outlet located nearby the softeners.
