This GT 55 Liquid Nitrogen Dewar with 6 x Storage Racks was removed from a university lab where it w (more)as surplus to requirements. The unit is in reasonable cosmetic condition with some marks from use. It has not been tested. There are 6 Racks inside with drawers that hold 5ml tubes.

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up but  (more)when we tried to connect it to a PC with software we had some issues. (Software not included). We installed software on a test PC and it did seem to connect to the RG3000, but it is stating that there is a Fatal Hardware Malfunction. The machine can't be used until the distributor has service it. After starting it again we got another error: Thermistor is Open. We have removed the casing to check inside the unit and cannot find any obvious issues. There is an LCD panel inside that is showing 'TEMP OVER 140/127.5/2.1/152.0'. This displays as soon as the unit is switched on, so it looks like there is some sort of temperature error happening. There are 4 x PTC EPCOS C810 Thermistors in the power supply section of the unit. It's possible that there is a fault with at least one of those. It is in otherwise reasonable cosmetic condition with marks from use, but is sold for spares/repairs The item holds up to 72 x 0.1ml strip tubes.
