Introducing the 4titude a4S Automatic Heat Sealer, a versatile and efficient solution for laboratory settings. This second-hand system is designed to function without an air supply, providing the flexibility needed for use on standard lab benches as a stand-alone unit, or as an integral component of a robotic setup. The unit is equipped with a rapid heating element for swift start-up and includes a stand-by function to conserve energy when not in active use.
The 4titude a4S Automatic Heat Sealer is compatible with an extensive range of SBS footprint plates, accommodating all PCR plate formats from 96 to 1536 wells, as well as assay plates, deep well storage plates, and microplates. It accommodates varying plate heights from 3 mm to 60 mm with minimal adjustments required. Plates are presented in a portrait format, ensuring easy access for robotic integration.
It accommodates seal rolls with a width of 75-85 mm, which can be loaded in one of two positions, depending on the roll length and available space. This design allows the 4titude a4S to be positioned beneath the gantry of most liquid handling robots. The precise width and length of the applied seals are designed to cover an SBS footprint plate without interfering with plate stacking, while the seal position can be adjusted for an overhang at one end, facilitating easy seal removal.
