Product Description
- The 3M Air-Mate HEPA PAPR system integrates a blower, HEPA filter, and battery into a lightweight, belt-mounted unit providing respiratory protection against airborne particulates.
- Head Cover / Hood: Made from Tychem QC, available in large size, offers wide field of vision and directs positive filtered airflow into the breathing zone.
- Breathing Tube: Connects blower unit to head cover/hood, ensuring airflow delivery.
- Blower Unit: Lightweight, belt-mounted package housing filter, battery, and motor; circulates air through filter and tube to wearer.
- Filter: NIOSH-approved HEPA filter with 99.97% efficiency at 0.3 micron particle size.
- Compatibility: Usable with facial hair and glasses; however, facial hair should not impair faceseal.
- Fit Testing: Not required prior to wearing.
- Battery: Rechargeable internally or externally, providing up to 8 hours of operation per charge.
- Belt: Made of vinyl to allow easy cleaning and decontamination.
