The Hirayama HICLAVE HG-80 is an advanced 85L floor-standing autoclave designed for efficient and safe sterilization. It features an automatic lid opening button to replace the conventional foot pedal and an automatic lid closing button for convenience. Its safety interlock prevents the lid from opening during cycles, ensuring safety when the chamber is pressurized or at high temperatures. The programmable auto-start can delay the start of a cycle by 1 to 99 hours. A large and efficient 15-liter steam condenser prevents steam from exhausting into the lab, complemented by a built-in cooling fan for rapid post-sterilization cooling. Users can select the rate of steam venting post-sterilization and program the air removal time before sterilization begins. Up to twelve program cycles can be stored for easy recall.The HG-80 boasts a large control and display panel, enhancing functionality and cycle progress visibility. Specifications include a chamber size of 76 liters (14.3" x 28.7"), a temperature range of 105°C to 135°C, a sterilization timer from 1 to 300 minutes, and an agar warming range maintainable from 45°C to 60°C for up to 24 hours to prevent coagulation. Additional features include a programmable air removal timer, selectable steam venting rates, and customizable temperature settings for lid interlock release for increased safety and flexibility. The unit is equipped with comprehensive safety features, including a circuit breaker with GFCI, low-water power cut-off, over-temp power cut-off, over-pressure power cut-off, safety valve, and a sensor for improper lid closing. The autoclave comes with a 15-liter water tank for the steam condenser and a 2-liter drain water bottle.
