The UF-100 is a fully automated urine cell analyzer using flow cytometry method combined with fluore (more)scent dye and electric resistance method to detects casts. This unit is further automated tham UA-1000/2000. All the process from mixing and aspirating of sample to output of analyzed parameters are performed automatically. Analysis includes quantitative analysis and flagging. Quantitative analysis measures: RBC, WBC, epithelial cells, casts and bacteria count (concentration) in the unit of µL or view field. This GE Healthcare Life Sciences IN Cell Analyser 1000 System was removed from a university lab wher (more)e ti was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up but in testing we found an issue with the Liquid handling system's y-Drive. It is showing Error 42 - step loss encoder. We were unable to test it any further due to this and the software will not fully start up. It is in otherwise good cosmetic condition with minor marks from use.
