Wet gas vacuum pump Laboport SD N 820.3 FT.40.18 KNF

The N 820.3 FT.40.18 is a dual-stage pump equipped with a built-in self-drying system that automates the drainage of condensation. This pump from our "SD" range is the popular choice among laboratory professionals, particularly when dealing with humid vapors and needing a clean, environmentally-friendly vacuum. Ideal uses include vacuum ovens (utilized for the drying of chemical substances, biological specimens, and heat treatments), and autoclaves for the sterilization of instruments, containers, filters, and fabric. The use of corrosion-resistant materials permits the pump to accommodate even corrosive products.

At the core of the pump resides a diaphragm structured in PTFE, engineered to provide substantial performance whilst keeping a compact size, and delivering extended lifespan even under rigorous use.

When the pump receives humid gases, there may be a formation of condensation in the pump head which could eventually decrease the performance, subsequently extending the time taken to empty. The self-drying system addresses this by activating a solenoid valve that invites atmospheric air into the heads. Following condensation removal, the solenoid valve will disable, enabling the pump to vacuum at its full capacity.
