Description from the supplier

Experience precise and reliable spectral analysis with the Biochrom Libra S60 UV/Vis Spectrophotometer. Engineered with a wavelength range of 190 to 1100 nm, this instrument ensures exceptional accuracy, with a wavelength precision of ± 0.5 nm and reproducibility of ± 0.1 nm. The Xenon lamp source and double beam configuration, complemented by the advanced Czerny-Turner Monochromator optical system, provide robust performance.

Operating within a 2 nm bandwidth, the spectrophotometer features a dual solid-state silicon photodiode detector, delivering a photometric range from -4.000 to 4.000 Absorption Units (A) and maintaining stray light levels below 0.050%T at 220 nm and 340 nm. Its stability is evident with a zero drift of ± 0.001 A/hr at 500 nm, and the baseline flatness holds steady at ± 0.002 A across 220 to 900 nm.

Noise levels are impressively low, with values of <0.002 A peak-to-peak and 0.0008 A RMS near 2 A at 500 nm, ensuring consistent results over multiple measurements. Photometric accuracy is maintained at ± 0.002 A at 0.5 A, ± 0.004 A at 1 A, and ± 0.006 A at 2 A across several key wavelengths. For repeatable performance, photometric reproducibility stands at ± 0.002 A at 1 A.

Equipped for spectral scanning up to 1100 nm, the Libra S60 supports multiple measurement types, including fixed wavelength, absorbance/transmittance percentage, concentration calculations, multiwavelength analysis, kinetics, and specialized life science methods. With user-friendly data storage capabilities of up to 90 on-board methods and limitless potential via USB, you have all the tools needed for sophisticated data management and analysis.

User ease is enhanced with a modern color touchscreen display and a straightforward USB data interface. This durable system, measuring 535 x 440 x 335 mm and weighing 17.5 kg, includes a dual cell holder for seamless transitioning between samples and references. Ideal for a range of applications, the Biochrom Libra S60 UV/Vis Spectrophotometer is a versatile asset to any laboratory, providing trustworthy results for any research professional.
