This Micromass LCT TOF Mass Spectrometer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to r (more)equirements. The unit powers up and is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks. The lab reported that it was for spares or repairs but the fault is unknown. When we collected it, all the panels were removed, but we have fixed them back on. The Mass Spectrometer powered on with the cooling fan operating and lights illuminating on the front panel. It is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks from use. Bruker Ultraflex TOF/TOF Mass Spectrometer This was removed from a university lab where it was surp (more)lus to requirements. The unit powers up but has not been tested further at our facility. The unit has some faults as confirmed by the lab On arrival system was in fault mode with 'laser interlock' error. Restarted the laser through marathon control and tested. The laser started to fire but then the high voltage switched off. Tested HV supplies and found that the ISS could only reach 19kv instead of the required 25kv. Suddenly the system started working again and peaks were seen on the sample BUT the system has 2 issues that are intermittent. 1. 30kv supply 2. Laser

The previous owner has had an engineer report that states a new turbo pump, communications board for the pump and other PCBs are required. It is in excellent cosmetic condition with only minor marks but is sold for spares/repairs.
