This Corbett CG-1 Palm Cycler PCR Machine was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to  (more)requirements. The unit powers up and is in very good cosmetic condition. We had the unit inspected by a service engineer. They have checked the system and recovered the Palm Cycler software. They ran the system through steps of range temperatures and time slots. The system runs as required within the time frame of each temperature. They inserted an external temperature probe while running the experiment. The measured temperature was close to what was set.
