Microscopes

Microscopes are used study objects that are so small that they can not be seen with the naked eye. The most simple microscope is the optical microscope that uses lenses to create a magnified image of a sample that is illuminated with visible light. Many complex optical microscopes exist, using advanced techniques to manipulate the light to create high-resolution images that can be captured digitally. Instead of photo (more)ns, some microscopes use electrons or other particles to probe the sample.
