The Bruker LUMOS is a pre-owned, fully automated FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared) microscope designed to facilitate advanced microscopic analysis. Equipped with an 8x objective, the LUMOS can perform measurements in transmission, reflection, and attenuated total reflectance (ATR) modes. It seamlessly combines visible imaging, spectral data, and sample information into a comprehensive data file. The accompanying software boasts robust Chemical Imaging capabilities, allowing for intuitive evaluation and visualization of microscopic data.
This system integrates a stand-alone FTIR spectrometer within its optical framework, with all components being motorized and electronically coded for enhanced functionality. Notably, the LUMOS features an innovative motorized ATR crystal, enabling effortless transition between measurement modes without user intervention. This allows for fully automated acquisition of both sample and background spectra, even in ATR mode.
The LUMOS employs a patented, permanently aligned RockSolid interferometer, which provides exceptional stability against potential disturbances such as mirror tilts, vibrations, and thermal fluctuations.
