OAI Optical Associates Model J500/VIS Mask Aligner
This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up but will require a level of refurbishment to get i back into working order.
The system powered on but only one of the two optical microscope lights illuminated and displayed an image of the surface of the work platform on the monitor. The optical cables were swapped over to test the other monitor and microscope, these also worked. A new bulb is required in the light box marked "Bulb Blown".The extractor fan works well.The UV Light Controller would not power up properly when connected, making loud clicking noises, this controller did work on another OAI system of the same model which suggests there is a problem in the main mask aligner unit with the UV feature.The microscope moved around smoothly on the mounting slides but could not be moved by the joystick.
It is i good cosmetic condition with minor marks.
