Elga PURELAB flex 2 Water Purification System

The Elga PURELAB flex 2 is an advanced water purification system designed to provide ultrapure water for laboratory use. It boasts a daily volume capacity of over 10 liters with a dispense flow rate of up to 2.0 liters per minute. The system ensures water purity with inorganics at 25°C measuring 18.2 MΩ.cm and maintains total organic carbon levels dependent on feedwater conditions. It effectively controls bacteria to less than 0.001 CFU/ml and bacterial endotoxins to under 0.001 EU/ml, ensuring the highest quality water suitable for sensitive experiments. Furthermore, the system filters RNase to less than 1 pg/ml and DNase to less than 5 pg/ml.

Feedwater is preferably pretreated by reverse osmosis, filtered service deionization, or distillation. The system can handle feedwater with a free chlorine concentration of less than 0.05 ppm, carbon dioxide less than 0.1 ppm, silica less than 2 ppm, and particulates in the 5 – 10 µm range. Operable within a temperature range of 4 to 40°C, it is recommended to use between 10 to 15°C. The maximum flow rate for feedwater is greater than 2 l/min with no drain requirements, while feedwater pressure accommodates a maximum of 1.5 bar and a minimum of flooded suction.

The PURELAB flex 2's dimensions are 1020 x 236 x 374 mm, with a weight of 11 kg, excluding new filters, making it a convenient and essential instrument for precision-driven water applications in research settings.
