Product Description
The Benchmark Scientific R1000 COOLCUBE™ is designed to maintain samples at approximately 0°C for up to four hours without freezing, preventing degradation due to temperature fluctuations. It functions both as a cooler and a PCR workstation with dual sides configured for different sample formats:
- Temperature maintenance: 0°C for up to 4 hours
- Side 1 capacity: 36 × 1.5/2.0 ml microtubes
- Side 2 capacity:
- 96 × 0.2 ml PCR tubes or 12 × 0.2 ml strips
- 1 × 96-well PCR plate
- 10 × 1.5/2.0 ml tubes
- Dimensions: 5.6 × 5.6 × 2.5 inches (143 × 14.3 × 6.4 cm)
The unit is pre-chilled by placing in a freezer overnight and then used at the bench to keep samples cold during processing or preparation.
