Millipore AP10-04700 MF Cellulose Support Pads with a diameter of 47mm are designed to reinforce filters in Millipore contamination monitors. When saturated with growth medium, these pads support culturing of microorganisms on membranes.
Key features include:
- Protection of membranes from damage during high pressure or rapid flow conditions
- Ability to place woven mesh spacers between filters in serial filtration to maintain flow rate and prevent filter fouling
- Facilitation of multi-stage filtration into a single step to improve throughput and save time
