OHS 200 Digital Overhead stirrer VELP

The OHS 200 Digital is an overhead stirrer designed for demanding applications with viscosities up to 100,000 mPa. Equipped with an electronically controlled brushless motor, it offers a maximum torque of 200 Ncm and can mix up to 100 litres of solution. The speed is adjustable between 6-400 and 30-2000 rpm, maintaining stable torque over the entire speed range.

This instrument is ideal for laboratories that need to mix high viscosity liquids , ensuring consistent and reliable performance.

The sealed IP 54 case ensures durability even in harsh environments. In addition, the OHS 200 Digital is equipped with safety alarms for overload, overheating and overcurrent, ensuring maximum safety during use.

The powerful brushless motor and microprocessor control ensure unprecedented performance, highlighting the difference between a conventional overhead stirrer and the VELP OHS Series overhead stirrers.
Thanks to the SpeedServo feedback system, the torque remains constant at any speed, even at maximum. Having a constant torque is a very important parameter for the reproducibility of the analyses.

How often do you have to remove or replace the stirring rod using two hands and watch the rod fall into the liquid? SmartChuck™ technology makes this task quick and easy with just one hand and without any special accessories.
Two simple movements allow you to unlock the protective ring and remove or replace the stirring rod.
If the protection ring is opened during the analysis, the instrument stops stirring and display a safety message.

The IP54 protection rating ensures maximum protection of the instrument from corrosion and high performance in challenging working environments.
The stirring is activated by pressure, avoiding involuntary switching on, and the set speed is reached gradually.
The high number of sensors and safety controls deactivate the agitation in the event of overload, overheating or short circuit.

The OHS Digital are equipped with timers that allow you to program the overhead stirrer according to your needs and carry out the reactions autonomously.
Setting the timer is quick and easy, just press the dedicated button and select a time interval between 1 min and 99:59 hours.

The OHS allows you to choose between two different control panels, Digital or Advanced, to best suit the needs of your laboratory.
