OHAUS Mini Hotplates and Magnetic Stirrers

The ruggedly built OHAUS Mini Hotplate and Stirrer series offers an efficient solution for heating and mixing applications. Equipped with a 102 x 102mm ceramic plate, these robust tools can handle up to 1,000ml of water, making them ideal for school laboratories and environments demanding straightforward, daily heating and stirring tasks. Each unit features a support rod hook with a locking knob, compatible with an optional support rod kit. For models designed for stirring, a 38mm PTFE-coated magnetic stir bar is included.

Available configurations include a heating capability reaching up to 500°C, options with fixed temperature setting at 500°C, and stirring models operating from 100 to 1200 rpm with a maximum temperature of 500°C.

These instruments are perfectly suited for applications such as boiling water, solubilizing buffers and reagents, media preparation, and concentrating samples. The units come with a detachable three-wire cable and plug, are structured with Valox armor, feature basic control knobs, and have an On/Off toggle switch for fixed temperature models.
