The IKA RT 5 Multiposition Magnetic Hotplate Stirrer is a 5-position digital stirrer designed for synchronous heating and stirring. It combines the RCT basic magnetic stirrer with the ETS-D5 contact thermometer, featuring a safety circuit to limit maximum temperature independently of the set point. The heating function switches off if the temperature limit is exceeded, ensuring safety. With magnetic coil technology, it provides noiseless and consistent stirring up to 1000 rpm, and its surface temperature is adjustable up to 120 °C. It supports a maximum stirring quantity of 0.4 liters per position (H2O). The stirrer has a durable aluminum alloy set-up plate measuring 110 x 495 mm, and the unit measures 120 x 60 x 610 mm, weighing 4 kg. Suitable for continuous operation, it includes an adjustable safety circuit (50 - 150 °C), operates within 5 - 40 °C, and has an IP 40 protection class.
