IKA RH Basic Hot Plate with Magnetic Stirrer

The IKA RH basic showcases an economical and efficient design as a magnetic stirrer equipped with a heating function. It offers precise temperature control due to the integrated sensor, which can be placed directly within the medium. This device boasts a substantial heat output of 600 watts, aided by a stainless steel compound hot plate for swift heating. The safety temperature is easily adjustable, ranging from 100 to 360°C.

Features include a soft-start motor for gentle stirring initiation, an M 10 thread for attaching a support rod, and a robust magnetic field with a broad speed range, accommodating volumes up to 15 liters. The heating temperature spans from 50 to 320°C, with a heating rate for 1L H₂O in H1500 at 6 K/min. It includes a connector for an external temperature sensor, ETS-D5, with a speed range of 100 to 2000 rpm.

The RH basic is equipped to manage a maximum stirring quantity of 15 liters per position and can handle a maximum load of 20 kg. Stirring bar lengths range from 20 to 80 mm, while self-heating of the setup plate during maximum stirring results in only a modest temperature increase. The stainless steel 1.4301 setup plate, with dimensions of Ø 135 mm, ensures long-term durability. Complete with compact dimensions of 160 x 100 x 250 mm and a manageable weight of 3.135 kg, this model is an essential asset for any laboratory requiring reliable stirring and heating performance.
