The IKA Ministar 20 Control Overhead Stirrer offers precise stirring for up to 15 liters of liquid (H2O). It operates at speeds ranging from 50 to 2000 rpm with a setting accuracy of ±1 rpm. The device features a speed measurement deviation of ±1% for speeds over 300 rpm and ±3 rpm for speeds under 300 rpm. It supports a maximum viscosity of 10000 mPas and provides a maximum torque of 20 Ncm at the stirring shaft, with a nominal torque of 0.2 Nm and a measurement deviation of ±3 Ncm. The torque measurement is trend-based. Time settings range from 0 to 6000 minutes, and it includes a connection for an external PT1000 temperature sensor that measures from -10°C to 350°C with a resolution of 0.1 K. The compact dimensions of the stirrer are 70 x 193 x 154 mm, and it weighs 1.56 kg.

Equipped with an R 1342 4-bladed propeller stirrer, it effectively promotes axial flow within the vessel at medium to high speeds, with a stirrer diameter of 50 mm, shaft diameter of 8 mm, and a length of 350 mm. Additionally, the device includes an IKA tripod scale, which serves as a stand with an integrated scale and data interface. This enhances laboratory safety and convenience, allowing immediate and continuous documentation of sample quantities added during the stirring process. The scale has a range of 5 to 6000 grams with an accuracy of ±6 grams, suitable for sample weights up to 6 kg. The tripod scale measures 213 x 570 x 391 mm and weighs 5.2 kg, with a plate dimension of 200 x 200 mm.
