The IKA C-MAG HS 10 Digital Hot Plate with Magnetic Stirrer offers a singular stirring position capable of handling up to 15 liters of H2O, supporting a maximum load of 20 kg. It features a speed adjustment scale from 0 to 6, delivering a speed range between 100 and 1500 rpm. The unit accommodates a maximum stirring bar length of 80 mm. At a room temperature of 22°C, the set-up plate undergoes self-heating of +1 K after one hour of maximum stirring.
The heating temperature range extends from 50°C to 500°C, managed by a turning knob with a heating plate temperature resolution of 5 K. Additionally, it has a fixed safety circuit limited to 550°C. An external temperature sensor connection for a PT1000 sensor is available but not included with the model. The durable ceramic set-up plate measures 260 x 260 mm. A heating rate of 5 K/min for 1 liter of water in H1500 is achieved.
The dimensions of the device are 300 x 105 x 415 mm, with a weight of 8.308 kg, making it a robust and precise tool for laboratory applications requiring dependable heating and stirring capabilities.
