The Talboys High Throughput Homogenizer (Cat. #: 930145) is engineered for efficient sample processing in microplates, vial sets, or matrices measuring 4 x 5 x 2.5". It features:
- Reciprocal motion optimized for grinding difficult tissue samples
- Speed range: 0 to 1,600 RPM
- Timer adjustable from 1 to 10 minutes
- Sample capacity:
- 1 deep well plate
- 4 stacked standard well plates
- 1 vial set (max 300 grams)
- Easy-to-load tray with secure locking for microplates or sample holders
- Eliminates cross-contamination
- Suitable for isolating proteins, DNA, RNA, viruses, and various biological materials
- Compatible with samples such as animal tissue, seeds, tubers, leaf punches, soil, sediment, insects, and microbial cultures
- Also effective for pulverizing dry samples for chemical and solubility analyses
Grinding Accessories (sold separately):
- Grinding vial sets (polycarbonate or polyethylene) with 24 vials @ 4 mL or 5 vials @ 15 mL
- 440C stainless steel grinding balls for bead beating of plant and animal tissues
- Balls are magnetically retrievable and pre-treated to remove oils and contaminants
