The AI BioChromato C1 Smart Evaporator features a unique tapered spiral plug design enabling bump-free evaporation using vacuum-assisted vortex technology.
- Heating: Aluminum beads (included) heat samples up to 100 °C
- Solvents: Suitable for high boiling point solvents like DMSO, DMF, and water without bumping
- Compatibility: Spiral plugs available in 4–7mm, 7–11mm, 11–17mm, or 15–24mm sizes; one plug included with system
- Functionality:
- Solvent removal directly from HPLC/LC/GC vials
- In-vial sample concentration after fractionation, NMR, and purification
- Inert gas purging (air or inert gas required, inert gas not included) accelerates concentration
- Applications: Organic synthesis sample concentration, solvent removal post-NMR, preparative fraction concentration, natural product extracts, radioisotope samples, surfactants, drug and pigment analysis
- Additional notes:
- Aluminum bead heating media compatible with various vial bottom shapes
