This Beckman J2-21 Floor Standing Centrifuge was removed from a university lab where it was surplus  (more)to requirements. We have replaced the lid and repaired an area of cracked plastic underneath it. It is very stable. There are some cracks around the gas strut area. They do not appear to affect the operation of the unit. The unit is functional and has a comprehensive service history. The centrifuge holds a vacuum well and has been tested at: 5,000rpm10,000rpm15,000rpm20,000rpm (Max). It ran fine at all these speeds but the needle isn't totally in sync with the control knob. It has been tested at the following temperatures: 0ºC our thermometer read -15.8ºC20ºC our thermometer read 21.2ºC It appears to probably have a cooling issue. The compressor etc runs fine. It just appears to drop lower than it is set. When set to higher temps, it takes quite a while to heat up.

International Metrology Systems MS Impact Coordinate Measuring Machine This was removed from a  (more)university lab where it was surplus to requirements. We were unable to test it at our facility but the lab confirmed that it was working prior to removal. It has a Renishaw Probe Head Controller PHC10-2 and Virtual-DMIS Version 3.2 and Version 4.0 software discs which run it.
